Potato candy!
2 Tbs. mashed potatoes
2 1/4 C. confectioner's sugar
1-12 oz. jar peanut butter
Place potatoes in mixer bowl. Add sugar a little bit at a time beating well after each addition. Spread onto a big piece of waxed paper about 12"x18" and make a rectangle about 10"x15". Spread peanut butter over top of sugar potato mixture. Roll up like as a jelly roll. Put in fridge for about an hour then cut into slices.

In a double boiler: Melt together
1 pound white chocolate
Stir in:
1 cup rice crispies
1 cup Spanish peanuts
1 cup crushed pretzels
Mix that well
Stir in
1 cup peanut butter.
You can use lined tassie pans and fill each almost full or if you don't have those, drop spoonfuls on wax paper
Let harden
This is yummy

try sticky toffee apple
Toffee Apples
Children's Sticky Treat!
9 small ripe apples
4 cups sugar
1 cup water
1/3 cup glucose syrup
Red food colouring
Rinse apples and allow to dry naturally.
Push a thick wooden skewer about three quarters of the way into each apple at the stem end.(You may find these skewers at your butcher's.)
Put sugar, water, glucose and food colouring in a heavy saucepan and stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved.
Boil uncovered, without further stirring, about 20 minutes until mixture reaches hard crack stage (155 C. on sugar thermometer) or when a teaspoon of the mixture sets hard if dropped in a cup of cold water.
Place pan of syrup in a baking dish of warm water for a minute or so until all bubbles disappear.
Remove syrup pan from baking dish.
Tip pan and roll each apple slowly in the toffee until well-covered. Rotate apple to allow toffee to settle before placing on a greased oven tray.
When set, wrap each sticky toffee apple in plastic wrap.
These are great for school fetes etc.

scaledi. (idk if that's how you spell it) yeah you wont understand that or yet you might but they're made up of egg YOLKS (terrible for you but so good!) and you make a dough out of them, and they become hard and somewhat sweet. then, on the outside, you can put sugar, honey and sprinkles, or a chocolate coating (honey is the best!) they're so good and so addicting it's not even funny and my nana makes the best ones! these are like the best italian desert ever!
