Because he is easier to find. All you do is put his sled on the screen and say it's him. To find Bin Ladin they might have to get off the butts.

Because Radar can't track terrorists that crawl under rocks, declaring that they have "Won",after killing civilians who could barely fight back.Check out the history of NORAD's site.I've often wondered if Santa would get stopped at the border for customs inspection and a search for weapons.(Rudolf could be hiding a laser target designator in that nose of his,you can't trust reindeer nowadays..........)Not to mention that there could be ANYTHING under that belly and beard of Santa's.I almost forgot about the cap pistols and BB guns he's probably carrying.Gun Running is a major crime,especially over international borders.How does the Air force determine he's a friendly,does he have an IFF(Identity,Friend or Foe) radio Beacon,like fighter jets have?Will the Navy shoot him down anyway,just to spite the Air Force?Aircraft are a major threat to cruisers and Aircraft Carriers.

Funny, that's cute. I love that NORAD does this. It makes them seem less...stuffy is the word I guess. I used to live in Colorado Springs. Our kids checked on NORAD's reports all the time. It was funny, it almost seemed to make them believe in Santa just a bit longer because NORAD made it seem so legit.

Santa goes in the air and radar bounces off him. Bil Ladin is like a snake and stays underground most of the time.

Last I heard, Osama Bin Ladin didn't fly across the sky at a predictable time in a radar reflecting vehicle......
