I might be stuffed anyway if they do, or some idiot declares war against us, due to my few years service a while ago. I just hope if it happens I'd get an instructor's position, instead of the couple of stripes & the kick out into the field I probably would get. If my county is under direct threat there'd be no question. If it's conscription for an economic-based territorial conflict, that's a very different story indeed. Fortunately, our new government seems to think long & hard about just these sorts of issues.

I don't really have a government, but by my convictions I would go to war for my freedom and way of life, not to save a nickel on gas or to help put a puppet government in place so that the wealthy part of the united states can run the country.

Of course. I may not agree with the political policies of the leaders of the government, but both my grandfathers saw it fit to serve their country. I would do it as a tribute to them and the countless others that have served and given their lives for the freedoms that we take for granted every day.

absolutely YES, but I am beyond draft age, If it came to my age group however the enemy is better watch out because us 40's aged ppl are not gonna mess around we would get 'ER Done in a big way so we could go back to our lives
I mean pull out the big ones and blast the enemy back to the stone age..
