Jesus Christ can not hold office as he is not an American Citizen.
As far as the GOP's association with the Christian Right, I think it is evident that it is a winning recipe. See if any republican can win any election without the support of the Christian Right. The association of the Christian Right with the GOP has won the last 2 Presidential elections. If any candidate disenfranchises the Christian Right they can not win the election unless they live in a community which is not majority Christian, then the biggest office they could win would be only within there own community.

Libertarian GOP participants would make the GDP blossom extra advantageous than the different group because of the fact they understand the inducement that comes from the interior maximum sector this is thoroughly nonexistent interior the common public sector. My dad is a greater-up of types on the DOE and consistently talks approximately how many human beings he desires to hearth, yet can no longer because of the fact the government would not function that way. If those tax-suckers have been kicked out and had to discover efficient artwork, the GDP would strengthen wildly. government would not create something, it merely shifts money into specific interest communities and makes specific a gaggle of thugs take their cut back alongside the way.

Whether or not you believe it, many of the founders of this nation were Christians......and Christian symbols are etched into the very fibre of this nation, including national and state buildings. Christianity made this nation what it became. Folks today are trying to re-write the history books, and to kick the Lord out of our nation. God is not mocked, if Christians allow these things to happen, WOE unto the people of this land. A deep faith in God is the essential quality of a good leader, plain and simple. "The fool has said in his heart 'there is no God' " Why does the Supreme Court open with prayer? Why do our other leading political groups open with prayer ??? Simply because it was STARTED this way by Godly men. WHY do folks want to change this???? A good question........and it deserves a good answer. Kick God out, and WOE to this nation.

If you want a theocracy, move to Iran. Contrary to some posts, most Americans are NOT Christians. The vast majority of people don't attend church services on a weekly basis. A lot of people won't openly admit that they think organized religion is just a bunch of superstition, but they aren't practicing Christians aside from paying lip service to it. Religion should not be part of politics.

Well first they'd have to track JC down, and that would open up a whole new batch of worms. Second, with all the things the fundies have messed up for everyone else, he'd be assassinated quicker than a kennedy.

It is a waste of time asking questions to Christians.
They will not read everything you write and automatically go on the defensive.
True martyr complex.
mairzydoatz - The overwhelming majority of the founders were deists and not theists. If you have ever seen Thomas Jefferson's bible you would know this. He razor bladed out all miracles and anything that had anything to do with the supernatural.

It's a loser. People have their spirituality but don't want right wing Christianity in government. Why Pat Robertson lost big time, why Huckabee will fade.

Can you not find something better to do with your time than posting nonsense "questions" just to rant about how anti-Christ you are.
Get over yourself.
If you don't believe, then don't believe - I feel sorry for you, but leave those who do believe alone.

I'm a Christian and I see things totally different than you. I see some politicians using Christians to get elected and then completely abandoning them. Christ has been purged from government so completely that the students can't say "Christmas Tree" at my local highschool. They have to say "Holiday Tree". Politicians who claim to be religious are lying to get votes from gullible people like me. The sad thing is, they fool people like you, too.
