if i'm a lawyer and then i get a maters degree in Legal Studies: Law and Public Policy...can that lead me to becoming a university professor??? is there something after it i need to study...or is it a waste of money and time?

No- as an attorney, you need to understand Public Policy in case you work for a litigation firm. If you can't understand why this class is important, don't you think you're in the wrong field?

To work in a university you would need not only a masters, but a doctorate as well. Basically all major universities have already or are now phasing out any professors they have that do not have a doctorate degree.
