It totally feels like Christmas, yes. And to me that's not a good thing at all. Bad enough being alone all the time -- seeing everyone else around me rejoicing that they all have each other hurts me to no end. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for everyone else being together, but that doesn't take the hurt out of my existence.

i agree, it doens't feel like a vacation. (perhaps because there's no snow and i have tons of hw that i dont feel like doing)
