Dark circles can treated with regular and gentle care.Cover your eyes with cotton soaked in luke warm milk for 15 minutes everyday to remove the dark circles around your eyes or dip cotton pads into freshly extracted mint juice, flatten them and place them on closed eyelids for 10 to 15 minutes. For starters:
- drink lots of water
- get enough sleep
- prop your head up on two pillows while you sleep (this will boost circulation)
- eat a diet rich in fiber

This small changes in your routine can make your dark circles a lot less noticeable. To get rid of them instantly however, use a cold compress (or a chilled spoon, cucumber, or potato slice will work as well) on your eyes for 10 minutes. Since they are cold (and cucumber and potato slices contain vitamins as well), the veins under your eyes will shrink and your bags will be smaller, if not gone.

After that, you can cover your bags. Dab on a bit of red lipstick on the bags. It sounds crazy, but the red in the lipstick counteracts with the blue in the under eye circles, so they kind of cancel each other out. After that, put on some concealer and brush a bit of powder over your eyes (optional) to set the makeup and give it a more flawless finish.

Also, if you want to wear makeup, only wear mascara on the top lashes to draw attention away from the circles.

Good luck!

getting lots of sleep may make your dark circles worse, if you are allergic to dust mites ... using fancy creams can make your symptoms worse, if you are allergic to any substances used in those creams ... eating carrots and cucumbers and whatever people suggest may make your symptoms worse, if you allergic to those foods ... try to find the underlying cause, such as hidden allergy (and trust me they can be very complex), get skin and blood allergy tests (skin tests can miss delayed reaction allergies) and then you can find out what is causing the build up of inflammatory cells .. you can find sum great info at http://www.whydarkcircles.com or http://www.antiallergyproducts.com - Good luck
