Yes, most people "talk a load of poop" on occasion- especially adults. Just because you are a kid doesn't mean you don't have anything important or insightful to say. Growing up I also was largely ignored by adults just because I was a kid. The adults who treat you like you are a lesser human being suck. There are some nice older people in the world too though who will value what kids have to say.

Because you're 15. And the fact that you already admitted that you sometimes talk a load of poop. When people listen to you talk, they generally *know* when you are talking garbage. Even though you "come out with some good stuff occasionally", they are less likely to take you seriously due to the fact that you sometimes talk poop. And trust me, most people are generally aware when you are "talking poop" to them. It's not that difficult for me to tell when someone is exaggerating, stretching the truth, or downright lying.
Try practicing more adult conversations in your next gathering among adults, and completely leave out talking "the poop". You will be taken more seriously in the future, as people get to know you, and your conversation skills mature.

The more you speak up what you call "good stuff" the more people outside will realize. It takes a lot of time for this to happen.
Hell, look at me, no one listens to me. Well technically not no one, but then again.. my opinions are always overshadowed by others assuming im either too young or im being arrogant in expressing what i feel and think..
It's a normal thing..
I realized changes when i started expressing "good stuff" over and over to the same ppl.
That is when they realized, "hey wait a minute, he seems to have quite interesting ideas etc"
Its a slow process. Good luck to you.
and take care!

Maturity comes to different people at different times.
For the most part it usually has not arrived in a fifteen year old or at lest not to any great extent.
If it has come to you, then those closest to you realize it but, don't judge people too harshly for it's nothing personal against you.
As you go forward in life, people will start to take you as seriously as you deserve.
Lets face it, there are lots of adults who act like a dink....and that's the way people treat them.
Good Luck and be patient.

Without knowing you and being around you I can't really answer your question.
I can tell you that I remember feeling like nobody cared about what I had to say when I was your age. It was horrible.
My advice is to keep talking and hang in there. Just remember that to some people you'll always be a "kid" no matter how old you are.
I hope things get better for you.
Merry Christmas!!!

Well, I don't know.
I'm 15. I talk crap too, but
I guess it's all a way of how you look at yourself too.
You have to look at yourself as if you deserve
to be taken seriously.
You can't always talk random stuff.
At times it has to do with people thinking that they've seen more than you have in life and that they know better, so I guess they look down on you. And you do have to admit you can be the same way with younger kids too.
Anywhoo. Happy holidays! =]

hey kiddo. dont worry about beink taken seriously. you are a kid and trust me this is the best time. First of all being taken seriously is overrated. instead spend your time enjoying the poop you can say and get away with it. think about it this way. a few years from now when you are working, you might say somthing that might offend someone. and then you'll wish you werent taken seriously. so relax buddy and enjoy this time.

That is a legitimate, well thought out question. Sometimes it is very difficult for an older person to be open enough to learn from a younger one.
Continue to say intelligent, insightful things and people will eventually begin to listen.
See, I took you seriously.
And so it begins.

You will find as you get older it will change, I'm amazed how many kids look up to me now that I'm past 40, I don't know why I'm still the same stupid person I was when I was 15

Because you just said here that you "talk a load of poop", and if you want people to take you seriously, than don't talk crap.
Get it?
It will get better though. :-)
