I find it surprising that Michael Clarke would make a comment like this....I would like to see a link for this article so I can see what was said.

It is unlikely that any Aussie would make such an over the top statement - they didnt make any comments like that during their 16 match streak. They might have said they are playing very well and it would be a challenge to beat them, but not saying they are invincible.

This is a hype built just before the series which is nothing but
setting the mind set for the series. Instead of making his bat
talk, he is allowing himself to make such comments.

Once they are beaten in their own backyard, then he will shut
up and blame on someone else. But if they whack India, then
his comments would be proven. Until then it is all mind games.

Good luck India, and if you can get those 20 wkts and score
well you can repeat the same as in 2003.

It's simple , who gives a damn about what Clark thinks ?

Clark is still a kid in cricket, let him say whatever he wants. At the same time, i really don't believe these reports, media makes a mountain out of a mole.

Anyway, this isn't a surprise. That always happens when you are playing against Australia

Australians are known for mind game by making various statements before start of any series to put opposition under pressure and such statements are nothing new..

It may because of the overconfidence. But he may also try to make Indian batsmen to get more pressure on his comments. Its also to play a mind games as Australians usually follows

Dear Miss Deepa,
In my opinion Clarke is playing mind game. This is very typical of the current australian side. I will not be surprised if sreesanth was playing and taking wickets, that they will complain that he is "chucking". This has happened with us= Akhtar and Sri Lanka spinner Muthmaaran.
Sincerely
Rehman

Proud ends sooner, so let's hope to ruin their pride by the great Indians. Though they have along win win record, India, Sri Lanka & South Africa have the ability to stop them.

I haven't actually heard or read of him saying this in our media, but if he did he should get a swift kick up the behind from CA. It also goes to show that I was right when I said he is not mature enough to be Australia's captain.Of course we can be beaten.

I dont know he really said like that.. Please give the link.. I have read that clarke is doubtfull about australias performance.. and he wants bouncy wickets to win the test matches.. otherwise it will be very difficult for them to bowl out indian batting line up..
