It could be worse.

I am in Christmas hell beset by family that show you when I don't want them and never show up when I need them most.

I have friends I want to see but can't.

Friends that wanted to come in but couldn't.

A friend who wanted to come in but the mess was just too out of my hands to juggle. I am having to play catch up with everyone to try and clean behind them.

I am receiving things I don't want but can't give back.

It is ridiculous.

Oh, and I can only imagine what the dinner will be like. I hope they know how to cook.

I thought I could pull this off, a Christmas where I am not the center of the universe but it did not work. Friends are upset with me. I am upset with me. And now, I have more cleaning to do and emergency cooking, and gift wrapping and for a Christmas I gave to others to be the center of the universe and see how they like it. One started chain smoking from the stress. Another yelled at her boyfriend. He yelled back. The rest just hid. And I just kept cleaning and wishing I was like you alone for the holiday.

Look at it this way, at least you will not have to clean up after everyone else, your pipes did not burst like my pipes from last year, and you are not missing a relative or two or more forever.

Now put a smile on that cat and have a Merry Christmas. I will try and check in on this place from time to time to see how people are doing. We are neer alone at Yahoo unless the power goes out. : )

Sure thing - I can at least give that - Have a Merry (quiet) Christmas, I'm all alone in my house, except for 2 cats and 1 hound dog - till Christmas afternoon, but it's never a lonely-aloneness when you've got some online friends to make contact with. Here's my favorite also - a (((HUG))) for you.

10 1/2 hours til Christmas here. They're right. You're not alone. If you believe in Jesus, He's always with you, & your P&S family as well. Enjoy your day in your own special way. Merry Christmas! (and here's a star!)

When you arrived at the hospital you will go to the surgery unit;,to a pre-op holding room. There, you will stay till they take you into the OR. Usually they will start an IV in your arm and they might give you some sedation. Because they are taking out your tonsils the anesthetic will be light but you will not remember anything or feel pain. Once you have recovered they will send you home, And you will have pain like you have a severe sore throat, Most of the foods you will be eating will be soft,. If the Doctor gives you pain medication then take it. Follow his instructions. People vary in recovery times. Email if you have a question.

Ah, don't spend it alone - make your way to the nearest hospital as I'm sure there will be someone in need of some cheer there.
