I have ASUS A7v600-X motherboard, what processors does it support?

and does it support Athlon 64 4000+ (2.6GHz, 62W, 512KB L2 cache, 2000MHz HyperTransport bus, socket AM2) processor?

does it support any X2 dual core processor

(currently it has a AMD Athlon(TM) XP 2000+, MMX, 3DNow, ~1.6GHz processor)

It supports:
- Athlon 1000-1400
- Athlon XP 1500+ - 3200+
- Duron 1000 - 1800
- Sempron 2200+ - 3000+

So, it does not support the Athlon 64 4000+, and does not support any X2 processors.

Read the Mother board manual and check compatibility of the main board.and check online manuals.
