is there a option to disable check the disk when boot up xp.?

Question

98 has a option in sysconfiguraton utility in sysinfo.
as 98 in xp how i disable check disk.

I have to fix disk errors but can't fixed using scandisk /check disk / or maxtor disk diagnostic .but i created the partition at end of disk 10GB .finally installed xp and it worked but there is scan the hard. but everytime when bootup xp stsrt scandisk (check disk )and stuck the pc but when escape it windows boot and working sowly.
but i want stop the scan disk when boot

One of two things. It is either in the scheduled task list to run on startup or you are not doing a shuitdown with the menu system. If it is a scheduled task the items can be removed. You should have an icon on lower right for Task Scheduler. If not, use the Help Menu to find and open it. If you are not using the shutdown commands use the Start, Shutdown on the Menu.

Don't you press somethin' like F8 or somethin' when it's at the very first bootup screen (it usually says at the bottom of the screen to press a certain key for boot options) then you can edit it in there.
