I love the Yahoo! general horoscope site -- just go to the yahoo! homepage (see up in the upper left-hand corner), and click on the horoscope box. It's eerily accurate for me! And it's not geared toward one sign or the other -- instead, it gives an overview of what the day is supposed to be like.
But remember, your day is what *you* do. No decent horoscope is going to tell you what to do, but it might make some good suggestions.

- gives you a basic natal chart interpretation - quite a good one too
- gives basic interpretation of transits to your natal planets
- allows you to put in charts for other people (such as your friends)
- allows you to check your compatibility with your friends
- with a bit of practice, allows you to work out the likely effects on you if you relocate
