Mine was a basket of biscuits. What made it so bad? Well, silly me had assumed they were listening the numerous times i had mentioned i was allergic to gluten and wheat. Yeah.
It wasnt the item, nor the cost. It was the care factor ZERO element to the gift - were they even listening in our previous conversations...??? The numerous times i was extremely ill from hidden gluten in products?? lol. Perhaps, they wanted me dead....didnt consider that before.......lol.....

Lol. Wow, yeah, you'd expect them to get the idea by now, after having more than one conversation regarding the gluten issue.
I can't think of anything I really hated for a Christmas gift. I mean, as a kid I never really liked getting clothes for Christmas, I suppose even now I don't mind so much, because I never buy clothes for myself. Gosh, I so hate shopping for clothes!

You are right the CARE factor.
I received a puke green colored lime green tank top with matching shorts --- two sizes too small.
I was in my mid 20's at the time and I hate green (have nothing in my closet this color). I am somewhat modest and quit showing skin like that by the time I was 16.
Above all, it was my baby sister who gave me the gift and we had lived together all of her life. So how could she not notice.
