The NBA players are overpaid, spoiled brats who think they are living legends. They think they are way above chain nets at their level, but OH GOD isn't that the best sound ever, a ball diving thru a chain net! Gimme my change!! Now that's MONEY babe

Hey man good question. Well the reason why NBA nets arn't chain is because 1st it would hurt for those tall guys and not to mention those dunks. Also chain's are more expensive and they rust which could cut or injure a player then they would have to get a tet. shot. Cloth cannot hurt a player really and is more cheaper. And easier to change than chain nets. I hope this helped man.

Because it would look stupid. Having a beautiful court and then having chain nets. It's not pleasing to the eye or to the players.

Those chain ones are made usually for outdoor courts. Cloth
rots. Chains are stainless steel.

Cloth nets sound better when it's nothin but net'...at least when your indoors. Chain sounds better outdoors. NBA is played indoors so they use cloth for more efect....hehe

And would hurt themselves getting hung up, cut, and scratched to death by the chains...
