Sometimes I feel like I can feel if my dad is happy for me, worried, or even feeling regretful... Probably just me feeling for him, but have you ever felt like that?

Yes-follow me on this-Love is the most powerful force in the universe, and creates boundless energy.Your father's love for you meant an incredible amount of love energy was absorbed by you.
Just because his body died, that doesn't mean his love or its energy died.In fact the opposite is true:Energy never dies;it just changes form...Coal burns up,but its energy becomes electricity. The electricity lights the bulb, that light is absorbred by objects in the room, especially plants....It is a never ending cycle.
You are feeling your father's never ending love for you, which will never die.
Merry Christmas

My best friend died of Aids and for a very long time I felt his presence edging me forward and *telling* me to let go and that he was happy.

The feeling faded and I was able to move on and come to terms with his passing away.

He also was in my dreams at night and he was always happy.

yes ... it's sort of odd ...
sometimes I see something and I wonder if it's there for me at that moment because of the person (I don't know if that makes sense or not) It's sort of like if you've had something weighing heavily on your mind and then there's a song that you'd never hear typically but it comes on (my dad loved herb alpert and the tijuana brass) and I think he's "talking to me"
get what I'm saying ..
