Anything with mass will exert a gravitational pull. For something not to have a gravitational pull it must not have any mass. Earth is made up of matter, matter must have mass and occupy space, so a matter without gravitational pull does not exist, and Earth will have gravitational pull as long as it exist.

no it cannot be deactivated completly.... but can be minimised by increasing the distance of earth in the solar system.... which is impossible.... but according to big ban theory when the space starts expanding with out a limit then on that fine day the gravitational force acting on earth may start decreasing. ....

I heard from the history of Hitler that he was working to stop the gravitational pull of moon and there by the moon will fall on earth and the sea water will come out to destroy the world. But what was his finding is not known to anybody. But Mr Hitler was also a scientist.

Gravity is created though convection, that is the molten metal moving very fast in the earths core, gravitational field is then created. You will need alot of energy to counter the gravitaional pull or rather to deactivate and it is a waist of time.

Nothing can stop gravity.
It goes right through a vacuum, planets, moons, stars, neutron stars, black holes, even event horizons, as though they were not there.
Distance reduces gravity, but it never really disappears entirely.
Einstein was wrong about it being indistinguishable from an acceleration. Accelerations do not taper off as gravity does.

Space tells matter how to move, matter tells space how to curve. Dr. Carl Sagan-Cosmos. Gravity is the tendency of displaced space to return to it's original shape. In other words, space is not nothing--it can be affected by matter.

Gravity cannot be deactivated, only counteracted with other forces (for example, magnetism).
