I am sick of these damned limeys trying to degrade America at every turn, when we have had to save their asses on several times, do they appreciate it ?? hell no they have not got enough sense to, when they say our English is not good enough for technical work they are full of sh,, as our English is more descriptive than the limey version any time , one of the reasons our country became so powerful in such a short time,
however we have let the blacks come in and bring all of these stupid slang into our language it is hard for me to understand at times, and our country same as the rest of the western world is going down in a hurry, and our people have become so weak we don't even fight it, it is as one lady wrote "the fighting spirit has been bred out of our men?

out side languages and cultures have overwhelmed America to the point that America don't even stand for America any longer. any body that crosses our borders and have a hand to reach out, they are given a piece of America. now there are nothing to give Americans but the slop that our government feed us........
this is about as exact and technical as English gets....
a nation that once had it all, has now been crippled and brought to its knees. if this nation don't humble its self before God and turn from its sin, it will never stand again......

it possesses approximately 1000 000 words.
There is no doubt about it - English is objectively much harder than Spanish, particularly because of the way it "overworks" its core vocabulary. Look at common verbs like "to take" and "to put" - they can assume a huge number of different meanings. Learning these "phrasal verbs" is a nightmare for all foreign students of English.

I'm generation Y here in New Zealand - we are meant to be selfish and want the world all on a platter. Good to see the rest of the world has it's problems also.

the English language has been so badly corrupted that no one, except a select few of us (I'm one) know how to use it properly.
I offer as an example: different THAN. that is completely wrong. but I bet all of you say it. the correct phrase is different FROM. that's just the beginning.
