I like to know about other people out there, see if they are like me in a way. i like to answer peoples questions, hopefully help someone out.
i don't come on here much but when i do i stay on here for ever :)

Tonight I'm on here trying to get to level 5 before Christmas. At other times I am here to answer questions and hopefully help anyone out. I used to answer a lot of the relationship and family questions but they started to become repititious - so I came over to polls and surveys for a break.

I'm on for pretty much the same reasons and i myself am rarely on but when i am i tend to stay on for long periods of time hours ha ha! i like to read peoples questions and try to help them out with an answer in some way! i hope i helped with your question! :P have a happy and healthy New Year! :)

i started first time by looking for a question...
got the answer in 1 minute, i was impressed.. (quicker than any search or any other method)
than discovered that it is fun, to ask, to answer, sometime when bored, I can joke...
amazed to see how people can have so different opinions...
sometime here to get frustrations out...
it is also good to talk anonymous at time, and be honest about stories that are difficult to share,,
then lastly it is addictive

For two reasons: 1. i need answers to some of the questions that have always troubled me and I found people who sufficiently answered those question and 2. i enjoy answering some good questions posted on the forum....another minor reason, I wanna earn some points too!!

I like to help people with their problems or concerns, but I also enjoy just having fun with the weird questions in Polls & Surveys. It is a great way to pass the time!

same here.
i don't come everyday to yahoo answers but when i do i feel compelled to answer. i particularly like to help out moms, single ladies or men who are so totally clueless on dating and marriage.
to answer a question is like reaching out to someone who maybe on the other side of the world. that really holds such an appeal. also when i see a very interesting question is just want to put my two cents in.

Right at this very moment I am on YA because the dogs are hogging the bed, and I couldn't get comfortable. Usually when I am on YA it is because-
1. the morning web newspapers haven't been updated yet for me to read
2. there is a lull in the day and I need to pass time
3. there is nothing on tv that night, so I am wasting time on YA

I come on here to answer questions, be silly and have a good time, it takes my mind off things that are bothersome in the world. I also like to help others when I can, if I can. =)

I'm extremely bored, and I like to rant. Ranting is my favorite past time. I don't try to help people, because for most people there is no help. Sometimes, however, I do help others by showing them a part of themselves they refuse to face. You can't fix anything if you don't know what is wrong in the first place, and most people know what is wrong, they just don't give a crap because it isn't in their best interest to do so. ;-)
