It`s not too hard to figure out, people have only been civilized for 10,000 years. We still use survival tactics of the caveman. There are so many ways that we have improved ourselves, but we still have a long way to go. Merry Christmas.

we're hard-wired by things that we learned before we even were aware of it. that doesn't mean we aren't responsible for our actions, we are. what it means is that we must be aware of what we're doing and not run around on "auto-pilot"
