i believe it is when it gets over you..you know why? because you wont think straight no more. all you'd think about is love love love..you wouldnt give a damn about anything else except for love. until its like an obsession already that you take away your own happiness from you and ignore your wants..leave some for your own mate ;)

Weakness In Love

2016-12-18 07:39:11 · answer #2 · answered by ? 4 · 0 0

Love is a strength. Without love we`d destroy ourselves and the world, We wouldn't be human, we`d be like machines we`d kill each other without second thought, we wouldn`t be able to tell apart friend from enemy without love we`d have no purpose to live. Love makes us strong, makes us human. Love is what makes humanity so beautiful. Hating is unnatural only the unloved hate. In the first Harry Potter book Harry Potter and the Philosopher's stone, Harry Potter`s mother Lily Potter (neé Evans) sacrifices herself to save Harry, because she loves him and if she hadn't Voldemort would still be alive in the books. Cybermen and Daleks in Doctor who they don`t love the only emotion they know is hate and their only purpose is to kill.
In my opinion love is a strength, love makes us stronger, sure love can hurt sometimes but we learn from the pain, that pain makes us human, that pain makes us stronger. Love makes us brave.

Love is a strength, but need is a weakness and a lot of people confuse the two. Some people think they are in love with someone when really they just need that person in order to feel loved themselves.
Unconditional love is a real strength. It means loving but not expecting anything in return. There is no need involved in this.

Every emotion can be termed as a weakness since it has the ability to blunt our logical thinking faculty. Yes, love is a weakness for it can lead to logically incorrect actions... however, it has a tremendous power of motivation and in that context, it can be a major strength. Either way, it is something lovely and sublime, even as it may be a weakness at times and a strength at other times.

Love is weakness.
It feels real now, at the start it always does. But it's an illusion, it fades; and you'll be left with nothing but power. True power endures

It depends. I think it can be a weakness, particularly when the love is for a person who does not love us but is instead willing and able to manipulate us for their own selfish (non-loving) purposes.

However, I also think love can be a great source of strength, particularly when the love is reciprocated and/or when the love leads us to put effort into becoming a better (more patient, more loving, more compassionate) person.

That would depend on how you judge it. When you love someone you open yourself up to them in ways you never imagined. You make yourself vulnerable to them. You give the people you love a certain amount of power over you. A man at a bar may say something to you that doesn't even phase you, but you go home and your lover says the same thing and you have a strong emotional reaction (whether that be pain, anger, fear or whatever). Love can be a great weakness, if that is how you judge it. For me, love has been the greatest strength of my life. The love of and for my children and my fiance. It can give you courage to face the things that you were always too afraid of before (all people have them, even if they don't admit to them). It can push and drive you, and it can keep you from acting too rashly. Considering that when I was young, I was raised by bikers and wanted nothing more than to be as hard and as strong as they were.... I now consider myself to be much stronger than I ever could have been without the love of these people, and without loving them in return.

Just be sure to ONLY give your love to one who is worthy of it. One who will respect and cherish the great honor you have granted them. The greatest gifts a person has to give are love, trust and respect. Guard them jealously, give them sparingly, and defend them with your life. In the end, they are all you have.

Yes it is. When you love someone you give them the power to destroy you. You basically willingly give them a gun pointed to your heart and trust them not to shoot. NEVER make that mystake.

Yes love is a weakness in the sense you are opening yourself wide to a person who knows where to hurt you most using all your fears against you knowing what bothers you the most .
