As a huge football fan, I resent the NFL Network trying to get more money out of me just so I can watch games. I pay enough for cable. Does anyone feel the same as I do? Anyone have the NFL Network? Is it worth it?

Kind of. Yes. Only on Thursdays. To explain the kind of, NFL network is not trying to get more money out of YOU, they are using their business savvy to get more money from your cable provider, who has chosen not to spend the money to make it available to you. I have NFL network as part of my basic cable programming because I don't have Time-Warner cable. Most of the programming on NFL network is really boring (think sportscenter over and over again w/out any updates and only football related info) but it's the only place to watch those non sunday games, so...

dump cable, go with direct tv. its one of the extended basic channels. 30 bucks a month 200+ channels including the nfl network. also has the nhl network which, if you're a hockey fan, is a great channel. for 12 bucks more you can add the sports package and get another 40 or 50 sports channels including the entire espn, and foxsports net lineup of channels

The only good thing about is the games you can't get anywhere else. I do like the way they show the previous weeks games. They cut out the time-outs and other crap and show an entire game in under 2 hours. The really bad thing about is that you have to mute it a lot or listen to Deion, as it seems as if he is on 24 hrs a day.

Yeah, I have the NFL Network, and it's only worth it because of the games that are on it, and that's basically the only reason.

I have sattelite, so I don't have to pay for it. Good luck!
