No. I'm 45 and have slept in a single bed for the last 2 years. My late husband had cancer and couldn't sleep lying down.

No. I have and have had friends that have single beds. They are over 30. The reason? They are single and don't have partners.. It takes up less room space. Right now my mother has a king size bed in her room. She plans on getting rid of it and putting 2 twin beds. For her and her husband. I see nothing wrong with it.

Well, we're all different, dear. If someone likes a single-size bed, that really shouldn't offend or perplex you.

It may very well be that they have no interest in or intention to, um, entertain overnight guests in their bedroom.

Sorta, yeah. Even if you sleep alone every night I would think you might have a little more space.....what if a you decided to have a one night stand??? Where would your victim sleep? (I assume this question is about yourself).....there is something very childlike about a single bed.

Aaahhh....thumbs down. Geez, I didn't mean to OFFEND!!!!!!!
