Mostly because Saddam was training al Qaida terrorists, and AQ had something to do with 9-11.

Just because you don't know that doesn't mean it ain't so.

We first suspected that Iraq was in some way connected to the War on Christmas, then it turned out we wanted to install a democracy there to enforce Christmas festivities and traditions into their country so that we could have a cultural field of influence surrounding Iran, eventually forcing Christmas on the Iranian people.

Some people say the truth is that we went there to look for Osama Ben Alladin. I think he was prime minister.

Oil and Israeli interests

When elected, Bush was opposed to "nation building," but Dick Cheney brought in eight fellow neocons who advocated "regime change" and re-building Iraq. This was before 9/11 and had nothing to do with Bush's war on terrorism.

Cheney's group all belonged to PNAC or IASPS. IASPS advocated regime change to increase Israeli security, while PNAC focused on our Middle East allies but named only Israel. Using 9/11, Cheney and the neocons convinced Bush to go against the long-standing conservative principles he proclaimed during his election campaign

We were looking for weapons we gave Saddam?
We wanted a place with no terrorists so we could set camp as we created the terrorists to fight?
If we did something that made no sense in the world everyone would assume they just didn't understand?

I don't have a clue why we went in and the lies just keep getting exposed.

Those damn Kurds told the president that it would be a welcomed change. The president prayed about it but before God answered Bush had dropped the first Bomb. The rest is history to bad Bush can not wait for answers. God would have told him this would be a big mistake.
