LEAVE IT ALONE. Seriously, people may have told you it's fake but trust and believe me, it's not. You could open the wrong doors and not even know what you've done. I would never, ever touch a Ouija board. I have family members, including myself, who have some psychic ability. My grandmother was a "touch know" she could touch things like a doorknob and tell you who died in a house and why or even people and tell you things no one else knows about you. . and I had a cousin that messed around with an Ouija board and the outcome was not good.

Most people scoff at the use of the ouija board. Some friends and I had some very unusual experiences connected directly to the board. It got scary. And did you ever read The Exorcist. Supposed to be a true story. . .The spirit Howdy came through the ouija board. I say don't play with them. Even the ouija board will tell you that. We were going to write a book on what we were told. The board only worked for me with my eyes closed so I know it was moving. It said that it was dangerous to call up spirits, that there were the dwellers on the threshold that were too evil to get into h*ll, and they could come through the board. It's a long story but it ended with putting my board away forever with no desire to touch it again.

Some people say that it can be a gateway to let in evil spirits, because essentially The Ouija is occult related. I think it depends on how you use it. If you're with some friends just having fun and being silly, it's a silly little game. if you're meditating and trying to channel spirits and using the board as a tool for divination, then don't be surprised to have visitors.

no, it is not true..

= Spiritualists who believe Ouija boards can be used to make actual contact with the spirit world feel that the act of hindering a medium’s ability to use his or her own eyes while the board is in use effectively places too great of a handicap on the whole exercise (see ad hoc hypothesis). (This argument stems from the belief that contacted spirits actually utilize the eyes of the medium during a Ouija session in order to point to the letters and words needed to form a message. Most believers of this notion believe that the board has no intrinsic power in and of itself, but rather, is used simply as a tool to aid a medium while in communication with the spirit world. Although many people have made positive connections with the Ouija board, there have been several horrifying myths and stories

of course i don't believe

Honestly, I don't know, I have played with them, and I hear voices all the time, sometimes they are muffled, and sound like many people talking from a distance, other times I hear family members call out to me loud and clear, but when I turn there is nobody there. I've also participated in seances, so its hard to say. Maybe my mind just plays tricks on me, nobody knows for sure. ;-)

No what happens is the person ends up thinking about it to much and end up convincing themselves that its real. there is a good explaination to this phenominon called the ideomoter effect. what happens is the user makes motions unconsciously/subconsciously. the process whereby a thought or mental image brings about a seemingly "reflexive" or automatic muscular reaction, often of minuscule degree, and potentially outside of the awareness of the subject

Mind over matter. If you think it's real, then it is. If you're skeptical, then ... you'll find reasons to think it's not. It's only as real as you believe it is.

Ouija is just a kinda fun parlour game. Of course it's not real. But, it can be fun!

Did you ever try the candle-in-the-mirror trick? Go into a dark room ... bathroom, maybe ... hold a lit candle up in front of your face ... it will show you what you were in a previous life! Spooky!

If you touched it, it's real.

If you doubt the spirits will not present themselves to you.

Happy Winter Solstice. This is a power day and so is tomorrow since it's the full moon, so the spirits should be easy to contact.

That's not a stupid question, a lot of people wonder that. I have one, and nothing's happened so far. Someone told me that, in order for it to truly work, you've got to receive it as a gift.

I beleive it's real. I could have just told you it's fake to make you feel better but I can't; I have heard some freaky stories from people I trust.
