Finally, the east is becoming fun again! There is obvously a Mavs- Suns- Spurs type rivalry going on now between the Celtics and Pistons again like it was back in the 80s with the bad boy Pistons. The Piston know that they are the ****, but now the Celtics have something to say about that.I really hope they meet up in the playoffs. Y'all agree? Disagree?

Before Boston can outlast Detroit in a best of anything series, they need Rondo and Perkins (or Davis) to start contributing nightly...

They also need Detroit's youth to crash and burn - if Detroit can keep those veterans churning and Maxiell, Stuckey, and Afflalo keep developing - Boston and the rest of the East are in trouble...

It might not be a rivalry yet, but give it time. They are probably the most complete teams in the Eastern Conference with good players at various positions. I think the Pistons were really just getting bored, and this finally gives them some real competition.

Boston should have won this week. Yes, it has all the makings of a rivalry, as does the Celtics--Lakers. The Garden was going crazy a couple of weeks ago for the Lakers game. The Celtics go to the Staples Center next Sunday.

Orlando Magic will beat them both in the playoffs anyway, so who cares about that rivalry?

Boston has lost to all the other top teams in the East. Cavs, Magic, Pistons. i don't think they'll fare well against the top West teams which so far they haven't faced

This could be a good rivalry for a few years, but I think the futures for both teams are bleak and the series won't be that entertaining in a few years.

Until they meet in the playoffs, I'm not gonna call it a rivalry.
