A quick solution is going for a run or jog. Another would be to think calmly and count 100 before you act. Another solution is simple deep breathing.
Think about the best times you have ever spent. This will help you ease your frustration.
Best of luck and NEVER give in to smoking. It might be a temporary relief but increases frustration in the long run. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Spend these well. Who knows. Maybe thinking of these events the next year helps releasing frustration!

Just like hawky said, release your frustration. According to Freud you will enter self-destruction if you keep all anger and frustration inside, others pioneering psychologist insist that doing so will just make you more aggressive. I believe that if you release the anger by punching a bag or working out that you can do so and become better. Just so long as you don't go on for too long or you might become overly aggressive.

the one works for me: buy a watermelon (of course it shouldnt be seedless) & take out all the seeds using a knife. by the time you would be done ur anger would subside & u wud have seedless watermelon 2 eat wich has a cooling effect on ur brain !!!
i read that in a book calld "pretty woman" & hav been using it ever since then
but it depends on what u like 2 do.. u may also try:
listening 2 music
run/jog to a place where its quiet
read a book
sit on window sill & let the wind blow in ur face
do a lotta shopping
eat chocolate
take out anger by recording swear words
paint using all the colors on a big canvas
or read yahoo answers for various questions & if possible try 2 answer some!! :D
hope this helps

Practice patience (my worst thing). Remind yourself of things you have vs. concentrating on things you want but can't have. Seek alternative solutions.
That's the best I can do without more detail.
