Went shopping today and noticed people were more polite than usual. Was wondering if you try to be more polite around holidays.

Well, I work at a department store so we are asked to be extra cheesy and upbeat and polite so I'm always wishing everyone happy holidays and whatnot but I get so sick of it at work that I am actually more rude in my real life. Also, when doing my Christmas shopping, I get so annoyed of the long lines and the crowding and the money spending that I get so bitter sometimes, but I certainly don't act more polite that I usually do. I would say I get more mean!

I think I am very polite and considerate most of the time. I don't think I get more so around the holidays, I think I go the opposite direction... I tend to get irritated with things more. It is the people who are usually horrible to others that act nice that sends me threw the roof, I can't stand the falseness of it. So I try to stay my same ole self but at times definitely seem grumpy.

I am polite all the time. Holidays don't make any difference to me as far as being polite goes.
