Because, according to Yahoo, if you aren't going to ask a question, you're supposed to do a Right Wing or Racist Rant. Those things are acceptable to the "Y!A community." "Good night" is not.

Trolls are jealous that they have no friends so they had this added to the list of insane and childish rules. Chatting is outlawed because trolls have no friends.
