Would you give up celebrating Christmas?

We don't celebrate Christmas.

His birth can be worked out, using details in the NT. Most Christians don't know about it because it's all shadowed in the feasts, and everything Jewish was done away with.

If He was born at the beginning of Sukkot, He may have been circumcised at Simchat Torah, "Rejoice in the Torah." Whether or not that lovely symmetry works, the fact remains that Zechariah said that one day all nations would celebrate Sukkot for a reason, and it wasn't that he was an avid camper.

The details of His death are there, too, but let's save that argument for spring. :-)

Chistmas is a time for presents...i think that is what most people think of it reguardless of all the cliche garbage on every freaking christmas special on cable channels around christmas time. so, yeah i would keep celibrating
