you can make ur stuff as private try to figure that out at edit page I've set up mine as private and give my addresses to only a few I can trust.

Don't trust anything on the Internet as much as you trust your mother.
Probably the catalog websites (e.g., amazon.com) are the most trustworthy because they have a reputation to maintain if they are to stay in business and make a profit.

They should have a guide for restricting access . ditto
