I do it at least once a month at the nail salon! I forget to get my money out to pay before they paint my nails, then it's time to leave and I don't wanna wait for the paint to completely dry because I'm impatient, so I just ask some random person to get the money out of my wallet to pay the manicurist for me, it's never been a problem.

I've been on the other end of that.. it's kinda strange.. I just try not to look, get whats asked of me, and get out of there. A purse seems like such a private area, I feel strange "invading" that space, even when asked..

i had a stranger carry my purse so i can dry my nails and i had a stranger put something in my purse under my supervised eyes

Not in a while but after a manicure sometimes the person ringing me up will get my card out for me so I don't mess up my nails.

I don't have any nails, so I can't really comment. My mother would ask this of me all the time though, not normally strangers. You must have just done this huh? Lol!

Hell NO!! My god that is dangerous - risk losing your purse with your wallet, license, phone etc... Couldn't I just stay at home until my nails dried??

its happend to me a few times for different reasons. someone who i consider less than a aquantince will ask me to get something out of her purse. i dont do anything i shouldnt, but i wouldnt trust someone with that.
