Yes, but I have to exercise as well.
The best thing is eat right and exercise.
Find out your body's metabolic reaction to carbs, proteins, etc.
I was sent to a dietitian for low blood sugar and she put me on a high-protein, low-carb regimen (sensibly of course) and I lost 13 pounds in 2 weeks.

Better than any diet pill.

If you are intent on diet pills, try Hoodia. I understand it does NOT effect your system in the way ephedrines do, and you lose weight simply by feeling satiated with small servings of food.

Treat your body kindly.
Try Advanta (bitter orange) it's an herb and be sure you get the right extract, etc.
Be careful with some of the diet pills like HydroxyCut, some have DHEA or precursors and you may end of up with male hormone side effects.

And, do you really need to lose weight?

diet pills are not the SOLE solution, but combined with exercise and eating well they can defiantly work.

Diet pills have a bad rep. My hubby took them before and always had bad reactions (seizures, disoriented, vomiting..etc).

I tried them once or twice. Lost no weight...just felt jittery and generally bad. Don't take them. Just exercise and eat reasonable portions.

Yeah, I took them, and I just about had a heart attack. My heart honestly started racing, and I thought I was going to die. Please don't take them, for your own sake.
