i have a molly in a 5 gallon aquarium.she has been on the bottom all day.i looked for a solution and came up with ammonia.so i rushed to the store and bought an ammonia test kit.got it home and sure enough the ammonia was in the "harmful"stage i got the jungle fizz tabs for ammonia now im waiting an hour like it says.i was also wondering if i should give my molly a fungus tab because she is swimming on her side i red that might be swimbladder disease.if so can i add the tab with the other fish in there?can i put the tab in there and let it dissolve before i put the fish in?i have algae eaters that all will the fungus tab hurt them?

Those Jungle Fizz things are awful. They are just ways to make money off of unsuspecting fish owners. To remove ammonia, it is MUCH safer to do a simple water change (siphon the gravel). Don't bother using the fungus tab at all. Swim bladder issues do not stem from fungi, but from bacterial infection or constipation. Until you can 100% positively diagnose the issue, do not add any more meds/chemicals... they do more harm than good in most cases. Depending on the type of algae eaters you have, the medications may or may not affect them.

EDIT: At this point, the salt really won't do anything. Continue to keep your tank clean over the next week to prevent any bacterial issues (that would cause swim bladder infection) and fast your Molly (no food for 3 days; they can go more than a week without food, so do NOT worry) to remedy any potential constipation issues (which may indirectly affect the swim bladder).

Molly is a poor molly...
So, let's note what your fish has:
High Ammonia Levels
Swim Bladder Disease
You gave it:
Jungle Fizz Tabs
Yeah you are doing the right thing. Just change the water so Ammonia levels would drop. Dechlorinate the water before you put the fish in.
Swim Bladder Disease
Fish have a difficult time staying upright and may hang in the water. Goldfish are especially prone to problems with the swim bladder.
Some hobbyists feed their fish peas to treat this infection. Perhaps this works by helping in the digestion process. Try this: stop feeding the fish for a few days, give the fish optimal water conditions by performing frequent small water changes (10% every week) and see if the problem clears up.

It should not effect the other fish in a negative way, but I don't recommend using those. Just do a water change.
Also, molly's tend to do better in groups so you really should have about 3 together, not just one. You need a bigger tank too.
Make sure you are changing the water on a regular basis since it's such a small tank and use water conditioner to make the levels even out.

The beauty of cooking with fish is that there are so many different types and thus so many different ways to cook it. Some should be decidedly "under-cooked" (such as salmon and tuna) while others require a longer cooking time, perhaps in a delicately flavoured sauce. Below is a link to a website (with lots of onward links, as well) which offers tips, advice and delicious recipes for cooking with fish in a healthy fashion.

no it won't bother the algae eater as long as you put the right dose in, but sounds like the molly had the lick. I have a hundred gallon tank and I haven't change the water for 8 years, but I do siphon the bottom out of the muck from the gravel about 15 gal worth every 6 months

you can't put the fungus tab in with the algae eaters, I would put the molly in a separate tank until it is healed...give it a week then put back with the other fish

yeah, stop the chemicals, for a sec.
and change the water.
then see how she feels
it's 5 gallons, it should take no time at all,
I'd empty the tank so there's like just enough for the fish to swim in then fill it up with fresh water,
bottled if you got it,
tap if you don't

It wont hurt the other fish. Its OK. Just make sure you clean the tank regularly to keep from getting diseases. My fire mouth just died today. :(
