Both, because when in the process of defeating evil, you have to be evil, For instance, if I wanted to give to the poor, I would have to rob a bank, who overcharges with extremely ridiculous interest rates anyways. So I would be committing a justifiable crime, in order to give to someone who was in need, while taking from the greedy. Kind of like Robin Hood I guess. For all these countries leaders who war monger, I'd give them all a good spanking until they learned to play nice. Why, because I don't think anyone is justified to be paid a million dollar salary when others struggle and often die of starvation, are homeless, freeze outside in the middle of winter, so on and so forth, nobody works that hard, some people are more educated, because they can afford it, some people have more talent, but no one should own jets and planes and spend $2,000 on lunch when there are people starving and freezing to death in the world. That is just sick. There is no doubt that greed rules this world. I would definitely adjust the pay scales a bit. We had three homeless people freeze to death last year in my city and all I hear people saying is get a Job! Nobody knows what those people have been through, but I find it highly unlikely they deserved to die because they were poor. Several people also died because they did not have health insurance, and could not afford to pay for medical prescriptions. ;-)

Besides from rare occations of immediate danger from criminals, what activities could be universally defined as 'good'? Working for one nation or another? Wouldn't the other sides consider you a force of evil? Furthering the political goals of your own ideals? How do you know your own views are the best for all concerned? What, are you a political arts major or something? Trying to figure out what to do would dedicate most of your time. Serving only yourself could be considered evil, but yet many monks are considered good and have devoted their lives to bettering their own souls, a selfish act. Finding a good job, helping those in need when possible, and staying out of trouble might be enough.

of course, I would use it for good. because I want to make a difference in this world.
Because it take a STRONGER PERSON to do good than to do bad.
it is always EASIER TO DO BAD THAN DO GOOD.
doing bad give you freedom, you can do whatever you want, no control, you can be as meant and bad or stupid or sily or selfish you want, who care.
but being a good person doing good, mean other way, you have to behave, you have to have patient, endurance when other meant to you.
also sometimes when you do good, ppl actually can think of you wrong, you face difficulties of life, and it happen, just because you so call doing good that doesn't mean bad thing doesn't happen to you, ppl still ppl, conflict still happen,.
the more good you do the more you will realized that is not that easy to make good deed, not that hard either, but it take experience and wisdom and hard works to learn from each single experience.
sometimes you help someone but they don't want to be help --at least in that moment, then what do you do? do u get mad at them or you wait. or you just leave.
see
last but not the least, really it take a really stronger person to do the right thing and good things and it is easier to be bad but it is not easy to be good.

No one would consciously use powers for evil. Either they would use it for good, what they thought was good or for the greater good (but perhaps not actually good), or will have a machiavellian idea of being amoral (not immoral), and would just do what's best for them, whether it requires them to do good or bad things.

I would use it for good. It seems people react so positively thankful to random acts of kindness. Almost a little more animated than normal. This tells me that people don't see enough good in their lives. So definitely good.

I think I'd want to be good, but I have a short fuse. It's probably better if I don't have any super powers. :)
