i ask because a lot of people tell me they just don't get it, while i'm laughing my but off!

i watched their special tonight. i've watched them since the 70's. sometimes i don't even understand them, but it still makes me laugh. my favorites have to be the deja vu skit and lumberjack skit. and now for something completely different, a man with 3 buttocks.

I've watched every single episode ever made at least twice, and I still burst out laughing when I see them. The Flying Circus was probably the greatest comedy team of all time, even better than early Saturday night live. I'm right there with you, and no one expects the Spanish inquisition.

I love Monty Python's Flying Circus.....my husband doesn't get it, but pretends to, just to make me happy......I can tell by his fake laughter. lol

British humor is droll and doesn't appeal to people who are used to American humor which tends to be more overt. I've always loved MPFC and have seen all the movies too. Terry Gilliam, one of the creators is actually American, though, so go figure!
