The Vasaloppet cross country ski race. It is held this year February 10th, always the 2nd weekend in Feb. in Mora, Minnesota.

San Antonio, TX - Fiesta Week. The whole city parties for a whole week and traffic has to be detoured around the festivities. It's a great tourist attraction.
I try to stay north of all the activities and traffic jams that week. The parades are just as easy to watch on tv and the bathroom is that much closer.

I live in an itty bitty town called Duncan. It's a farming community populated mostly by mormons and crack heads. Our biggest town event? Our county fair, which lasts 3 days and is usually really really lame.
