In 1977, I was driving up Wilshire Blvd. in Los Angeles, and (at the time I didn't know this but figured it out after the fact) I somehow drove through a "time portal" or somehow entered a "parallel time dimension" and found myself in the FUTURE.

I was simply bewildered over this twin tower skyscraper finished in a gold mylar glass... and the astonishing thing about this structure was the "central span" which crossed over Wilshire and connected the North Tower with the South Tower... it wasn't merely a pedestrian bridge or mezanine, but an entire building as thick as the tower were wide, but turned on its side, and even the bottom surface was finished in this beautiful golen mylar.

The structure was located EAST of the Harbor Freeway EAST of downtown LA directly on Wilshire, and today, 29 years later, no such building exists there in this location.

As I drove beneath the central span, I purposely slowed down to absorb the details... I saw people entering the revolving doors.

...And I saw doormen, cars driving up the driveways and into the subterranean parking... people were dressed in business clothes... other than this amazing structure, nothing seemed extraordinary. After passing it... I drove home.

This occurred on a Friday, and on the following Monday I told a work associate about the phenomenal building... and she appeared perplex, telling me that what I described did not exist, since she was highly familiar with Wilshire and LA. So I told her I would return that night after work and re-investigate. To my utter shock the structure was gone.

So... what do you think occurred? What is your theoretical explanation?

I am very serious... this genuinely happened to me, and as long as I live I will never forget it.

The odd thing is the "shape" of the building with the "cross-section" which in totality forms a capital "H"... I suspect this may be my "future headquarters", for strangely I have stumbled upon a phenomenon regarding the possitive effects generated by the vibratory frquency of the 8th letter of the Hebrew alphabet (being the "H" in the Latin/English alphabet)... just a side note.

Also, I've always been a "geek", and the "drug" answers simply don't apply to me, believe me, drugs have never been apart of my life... was never interested in them.

I'm not sure!

Time travel is the concept of moving backwards and/or forwards to different points in time, in a manner analogous to moving through space. Additionally, some interpretations of time travel suggest the possibility of travel between parallel realities or universes.[1] Although time travel has been a common plot device in fiction since the 19th century, and one-way travel into the future is arguably possible given the phenomenon of time dilation in the theory of relativity, it is currently unknown whether the laws of physics would allow backwards time travel. Any technological device, whether fictional or hypothetical, that is used to achieve two-way time travel is known as a time machine.

Sounds like a scene from "The Man In The High Castle" by Philip K. Dick.

I'd say you cannot leap to the conclusion of time travel, which opens huge cans of worms, until you consider the simple and distinct possibility you were hallucinating, either naturally, due to mental illness, or due to drugs, either taken or given to you, or mistakenly ingested.

Even if you lived long enough to see this building built, there's no way of knowing whether you really went back in time or this vision caused you to tell so many people you actually inspired someone to build such a building.

You write well. If you were an author you'd have a nice plot line. Ignore the usual clump of s--t-eaters. You will now get knocked for your spelling. And your creativity, perhaps.

Maybe this is something you are suppose to do. Maybe that was your building. It should be built, and only you know what it looks like. Your description provides a vision but you know what it actually looked like.

You have a vivid imagination, why don't you expand on it? Sci Fi is going strong.
