This exact same thing happened to me today, Xmas Eve. The only difference between me and you is that I live in an apartment and the leasing agent in the rental office signed for my package according to Fedex tracking, BUT, the leasing agent is saying they don't have the package. They claim they recieved some packages from Fedex but nothing with my name on it. Fedex tracking says it was delivered and signed for.
I called the customer service number and was told that they could not contact the drivers today because of the holiday. I was also told I would have to call back the day after Xmas. The customer svc rep said she opened a claim for me but couldn't give me a reference number so I am seriously doubting that she did anything.
I just hope that either Fedex will pay for the item or they are able to find it.
Please update your post to let us know how this turned out for you.

You need to immediately notify FedEx that the package hasn't been found. They will contact the driver and try to find out where exactly they left the package at your house.
UPS delivered a package of mine to the wrong address once... fedex couldn't find my house once (amazing since the warehouse is 2 miles up the same street from me!)
If I'm not home, they usually put it in my carport, but I've had them leave them behind the shrubs too--depends on who is running the route that day.

FedEx usually requires a signature unless someone at EITHER end signed a waiver that a signature is not required.
Since most businesses do not want to run the risk of the package not getting delivered, they rarely sign the waiver.
If you signed a general waiver sometime in the past for all FedEx packages, they can just drop them off at your house and you take all risks of the package getting stolen.
However, if you never signed a waiver and the business did not, and FedEx just dropped it off, then FedEx is responsible for the cost of the merchandise in the package and all shipping costs.

RE:
Fedex Says My Package Was Delivered But I Don't See It Anywhere...Help?
I was supposed to get a package today about 15''x10''x10'' big. I've been tracking it and it said the estimated delivery date was today the 22nd but then I checked this morning and it had changed saying it was going to be delivered on the 24th so I didn't see a need...

This happened to me twice, once is arrived a few hours later and another it arrived the next day. I don't know if this was an error or the driver was in a rush and scanned it in even though it wasn't delivered. I called the company and both times told me if it was delivered, was told it must have been put somewhere discreet eg behind bush or pillar.

you should call it stolen and lost that the shipping and handling with delivered right and that it has been stolen and there is proof right there that there was no signature for the dilivery... so just call them up and tell them your situation again

If it was Fed X ground, there is no telling......Never use fed X ground .
UPS dose not just "leave" your packages.
Fed X GROUND is THE WORST.
Partied with them " they get off daily, once the route's made" the quicker the better .
