"Power" is another difficult term to define.
It is usually defined as, "making a person do what he otherwise would not do." Physical beauty can only be used as an instrument of power when accompanied with intelligence. Otherwise, it will be only a temporary distraction.
In general, I believe that physical beauty is relative & intelligent people are really beautiful & their beauty is lasting.

Beauty can be powerful. But it's such a subjective thing that its effect is hardly uniform across the board.
I find some people attractive that others don't. Similarly, I find some people to be extremely unattractive that others find attractive. I'm sure the same is true of me-- some people find me attractive and others don't.
I'd never purposefully use the way I look to get something I wanted, because that strikes me as shallow. I'd rather be valued for intelligence or creativity than beauty-- it's such a fleeting and subjective thing.

I don't. My parents raised me on sayings like "don't judge a book by its cover." The only "Beautiful People" I give any extra credit to is the Marilyn Manson song. To be honest, I'm a little biased against the beautiful because a lot of the ones I've met turned out to be pretty ugly on the inside.

It can be, but it won't last. Watch the last South Park episdoe "The List." Abe Lincoln's speech about ugly people that have to work hard because nothing is handed to them, while beautiful people become lazy and take everything for granted with everything handed to them, is a good one. Great episode!

The problem with beauty is that it is fleeting, so once your beauty is gone so it your power

Beauty is powerful but, like an unloaded gun, it cannot overcome serious challenges.
