Oh gosh. OK.
I don't see death as being ugly. To me, death is is extremeley serene, peaceful, and (albeit) natural. It's the mourning that is ugly. No one cries for the death of the person, and what they went through during death (unless it was painful as all hell). No, they cry becasue of the acknoweldgement of loss. Death is beautiful. Death (and it's hard to think otherwise) is only the beginning I think. Who knows where you go. Who knows if you go to heaven, elysian fields, valhalla, or simply roam the earth. It doesnt matter. But i think there is some sort of life after death ( I can't wrap my head around "nothing" in this sense" So no I don't think death is ugly at all. Thats just not the right word. Overwhelming, trying, sad. Maybe.

Well, I don't know that life is all that beautiful, I've watched if form many angles in my time and have some jaded opinions both ways. Yes, I watched life slip away from another human being and seen the force simply disappear, first through the eyes and then the body. As a combat veteran I saw much death, some delivered by me, sadly to much received. The hunter views his kill in a much different way than the hunted.
My brother was in a horrible accident which left him paralyzed from the neck down. He tried to live but eventually could not cope with the pain of his life and found a way to kill himself. When I went to the morgue to id his body what I saw was my brother, yes he was dead but he was no longer paralyzed in death. I brushed away the sand from his hair and touched him, he was cold yet he seemed at peace and no longer paralyzed in death, that was not ugly.....

Life is not such a beautiful thing in itself : we often fall and skin our knees... It's the path to learn and grow, to begin wisdom for in the end discard our body. Dying physically could be very painful. VS, It could also be very easy going out of it, while you're so sick that you feel at ease and ready to let go. Painful is, maybe. for those who love life too much and want to hang on to it and are scared of death. Any type of change in life is always hard. After a part of some passage; it's very beautiful... I went there 3 times and loved it! and wanted to stay, guess I still was not at my end, I came back... but being out was awesome, peace, harmony, light...
I doubt that death is ugly... the passage could be.
Take care and don't fear, it's part of life!

Ugliness is separation from God.
Life's beauty is more seen in the buttercup and rose, in a child's joy and smile, graceful and expressive dancing, than otherwise.
"Men in White Apparel," Ann Ree Colton, and "Climb the Highest Mountain," Mark Prophet, give good insight re dea-th.
"Testimony of Light," Helen Greaves, "The Great Divorce," C. S. Lewis, "Expecting Adam," Martha Beck, "The Reincarnation of Edgar Cayce," Free and WIlcock, http://www.divinecosmos.com and "Life before Life," Jim Tucker, M.D., might also interest you.

I think life can be either beautiful or ugly depending upon how you live it. And death well I beleive if you try to lead a good life you will be rewarded if you don't you'll suffer the consequences. I do beleive in God, heaven, and hell.

I look at the angel of death as the guardian of life. If death is ugly, it is from scars & having to go into & do ugly yet nessasary things

Death is unknown. Since it is unknown, there is no way to tell if its ugly or beautiful. We personally experience life through our sensory and perceptual systems, our biology, psychology, etc. Death is a mystery that none of our systems have discovered yet, so who is to say? Maybe it is beautiful.....maybe not.....
