After my hubby suffered a heart attack he was talking to relatives that had gone on ahead of him.. he did this with his eyes wide open with several of his brothers and sisters in the room and was repeating things to his mom that no-one but his mom knew about..things that only those that had gone before knew.. his one aunt who had passed told him "not yet" meaning that it was not his time to die.. my mom as she was dying from cancer would tell me to "look there, do you see gramma.? gramma is here , beckie, she is here standing next to you..I used to think that people were a little weird when they would tell about things like that until I witnessed it for my self..now .. i think that it offers comfort! when it's your time you won't be alone..someone that you loved that has gone on ahead will be there with you..
