Here's what you really need:
1. Money to burn since the store stuff turns purple.
2. An appreciation for these purple windows.
3. Bubbles and creases. .you'll see!
4 How about that rear window- -can ya' do it in one piece?

Go to a dealer like LLumar at http://www.llumar.com These business owners know tint and you get a lifetime warranty!

If you buy cheap- You buy often.

Get a plastic spray bottle, fill it with water and detergent. Take your door trims off. That will allow the tint to go below the door trims and not be seen - looks better. Cut the tint roughly to size. Spray the window with the water/detergent mix and place the tint on the window. The detergent will allow you to move the tint around until its in the correct position. Use a hair dryer (or heat gun if you have one) to dry the tint. This will also allow the glue on the tint to become sticky. Don't over heat. With a very sharp razor blade, trim the tint. Be careful not to slip!!! Use a ruler to guide the cut. Slow and steady. You can take the tint to the edge of the window and then just cut the overlap - easier. Use a plastic card (credit card) to move air bubbles to the sides of the window area.

You dont need oil. The tint is self stick, get a empty spray bottle and fill it with soapy water (makes it easier to make adjustments to tint if neccessary. Make sure the window is clean, then spray with the soapy water. Apply the tint, take your time... Trim any leftover areas of tint with a sharp razor blade. (using a dull blade increases the chances of messing up. Once applied and trimmed, use a squeege to smoothen out the tint film, "push" any air bubbles to the outer edges of the window until they are gone. (Dont use a id/credit card to do this process, the card is too thick and can rip the tint easily) Hope this helps. Good Luck, Its not as easy as it sounds.
