Do NFL teams wear new jerseys each or do they wash and reuse the same jerseys each week. Aside from throwbacks, home and away jerseys.

yes.. all NFL teams use new jerseys every game.
i know clinton portis (my dad coached him in high school) and he would always give away the jerseys he wore the week before.
they also waer new pants and rebuff, repaint, and put new stickers on the helmets once a week.
and just think, they make MILLIONS of dollars each game.
how would a few thousand dollars a game hurt them???

Yeah, they use new jerseys every game. And some players have to have thier jerseys cut off cuz they're so tight. Next game you watch look at a lineman or another position and see how tight their jerseys are to them.

Well, they can afford to wear new ones each week.. and With all tearing and pulling on the jersey I think it has to be replaced once every few week or so..

I usually thought that the starting players wore new jerseys each week and the backups had theirs washed. But, I don't really know.

I am almost positive they do wear new ones each week. Most of the players have deals with card companies to cut up the jerseys and place the pieces in the cards as "game worn" cards...as a collector, we have hundreds of them. Its the pinnacle of cards

They will usually switch them and put in new ones about game 8 or 9, depending when they start to look bad.
