Socialistic country, which is her ideal?

Of course, she won't say it. She never would say what she really believes. That would defeat her. There is nothing genuine or sincere in anything she says.

OK, let's be clear. I think she is qualified to do the job. But, she would definitely take us way to the far left if she were to get into office and have a democratic controlled congress.

Her husband was moderate-left, but she is far-left with some of the things I have heard her say. She is a Teddy Kennedy liberal.

When asked about redistribution of wealth, she was asked if it was OK just to take from the rich and give to the poor and she had no problem with that.

She is a limousine liberal and they are the worst kind. They want all of us to pay the bill to make themselves feel like they are helping the poor and downtrodden.

We have always been somewhat socialistic. Public schools, school buses, city buses, all sorts of insurance, and more, that we take for granted, are sociaistic. No country is all one thing, or the other. All blend some capitalism with some socialism, etc. Hillary is less socialistic than Ron Paul.

Real socialism would also mean you don't own your own property. Of course, currently, even if your home is paid for, if you don't pay your property tax, the state takes your home. Also, the Supreme Court has recently said that if a developer wants to build a more elite sub-division where you live, they can condemn your home through eminent domain and purchase it for what they consider to be an appropriate amount because it would result in more revenue for the local government.

At least her brand of "socialism" is of some benefit to the individual. We are also losing our consumer protections that took many years to put into place. We are slowly, or maybe not so slowly, losing our benefits from our employers, if not our job, to globalization. What future do you see for the U.S. no matter what party or which candidate becomes president? We as citizens have little recourse about anything that is happening in our country these days. Global commerce is our new president.

Hillary supporters are too delusional to recognize the socialistic undertones to her campaign.

All of the rest of us can see it.

EDIT: I take offense to people saying I don't understand socialism. Taking a major privatized market and turning it over to the government is socialism. Period. The evidence against her which proves she supports socialism is her own words.

I'd like to see the US become more socialist. I don't really care for Hillary though.

She has never said that a socialistic country is her ideal, so you have no business accusing her of it.

And as a woman who has served on a Corporate Board, I don't think she makes much of a socialist.

People who throw around the word "socialism" don't really know what it means. To them it means, "anything I don't like, or am told not to like".

No it's not. That's ridiculous. Universal health care is not socialism. I dare you to show some actual proof that her proposed programs are socialist. And I'm not even a Hilary supporter. You conservatives always spout your rhetoric but you never ever back any of it up with actual facts.

Yeah, they would like that.

Fortunately, she won't get elected.
