Lee Harvey Oswald. Vincent Buglios in his 1621 page book, after 20 years of investigation, "Reclaiming History: The Assassination Of John F. Kennedy", more or less proves that Oswald did it, and acted alone. He provides facts and testimony that eventually discounts all other theories about the event. I've read over a dozen books about the assassination, always doubting the Warren Commission report, but now believe it was right.
Had that not been true, someone, by now, either alive or not, or on his deathbed, someone, would have provided a smoking gun to dispute that Oswald did it and acted alone.

The CIA.
They had the motive. They had the opportunity.
And since they had all those assassination teams overseas, all they had to do was bring one home, so they had the means.
It was definitely a conspiracy. The U.S. House of Representatives Select Committee on Assassinations concluded that there were at least two people shooting. More than one, by definition, is a conspiracy.
Why were late 20th century American political assassinations and attempts always by "lone nuts"? Oswald, Ray, Sirhan, Bremer, Hinkley...
Doesn't it strain credibility that a political person being shot is NEVER political?
There are different factions of the wealthy people who run USA, Inc., and sometimes they kill, or try to kill, each other's faction leaders. They also sometimes kill people they see as a threat to all of them, like MLK.
The "lone nuts" are just the designated patsies.

Oswald did it, and he acted alone.
Not such a good story as the others, and it doesn't give one the thrill of being in the know against an establishment coverup, but it's the truth.

Aliens from Roswell. NM, hired by future gov Bill Richardson, of course!
No sense of humor, huh? Ok then, Carlos Marcello of New Orleans, who employed both Oswald and Ruby at one point or another, and lost big time when Castro kicked the Mob out of Cuba. He was the one who said that killing Bobby would not solve the problem, but you "cut the head of the dog off".

Lee Harvey Oswald was covicted of the crime but speculation has been said that there was more than one shooter and he seemed to much of a simpleton to have carried out such a major assassination.

I believe that it was Lee Harvey Oswald.
Some conspiracy theory believers say "follow the money". That would put a number of writers, book and magazine publishers, and movie producers under suspicion.
What do we really know about Oliver Stone?
