It's easy to leave it behind and start being a better person. You can forgive yourself for a lot of things but you'll probably never forget(the past). As long as you've moved on, then remembering the past can only make you stronger, right?

It depends on what the past is. If it is someone or something that you loved, then yes, but if it is someone or something that hurt you, then no. Of course, sometimes the someone is both of those things...like the someone in the past I am currently trying to leave behind.

Nope, not at all. No matter what anyone tells you, your past influences the way you solve problems, the formation of your attitudes, ideas, beliefs, opinions, and even your behavior. You may consciously THINK and CONVINCE yourself that the past has no effect on you, but that the truth is that it does. Be honest with your self, accept the past and move on...

its impossible, you can try oh you can try, but trying is nothing. Personally my past is my treasure, i wish i had a better memory to store all the moments but i can't, i don't know why i can't remember much of anything before five, and even when i was five i only remember a majority....so yeah past is a treasure cause well it can't harm you...its already over.

No, I try but my past always finds a way to maneuver its way back to my present thoughts.

I won't be so ignorant as to say yes. Life dictates otherwise in most cases.
