There are kits you can buy now that can let you kow if it's a yeast infection or not. If it is, get yourself some Monistat. BUT...if you have never had one before, you really do need to go to a gyno to make sure it IS a yeast infection, and then he/she will recomend treatment.
In the meantime, an at home remedy you could use is plain yogurt. Just put some in that area, leave it for a bit, and rinse it off. It replaces the bad bacteria with the good.

Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:

Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment

Try natural remedies like.
- Applying Garlic to the affected hour for 12 hours. The acidic nature of the Garlic will kill the candida bacteria that is causing the infection.
- Avoid sugars and complex carbohydrates from your diet. These ingredients feed the bacteria that causes the infection.
- Eat yogurt for the positive bacteria cultures. They will fight the infection an put your body back into balance.

If this is the first time you've had a yeast infection, you really need to see a doctor because it may be something else. You can buy over the counter medications for a yeast infection. I would use Monistat. If that doesn't work or if it clears up and then comes back then you need to tell your mother because she really needs to take you to the doctor.

buy monistat 7 ovules. They sell it at the drug store. You just insert one before you go to bed at night for a few nights. Whats up with your mom anyways, thats crazy tell her you really need to go. They can prescribe you something stonger or call your doctor yourself sometimes they'll call you in a script for that without having to see you. it will get worse and very embarassing if you dont. The discharge will increase ALOT!

Yogurt, yogurt and more yogurt. You should eat it and plain unsweetened yogurt can take the discomfort away. Depending on your age there are things in drug stores you can use. Good luck, been there, it's not fun.
