Personally I would say no. Reason being we as guys are much more immature than women of the same age. In other words it's best to marry someone that is 5 years younger or more. To marry someone older is to welcome the "mothering" effect. Not something that she will do intensionally, but it will happen none the less. Plus the whispers behind your back is that you need a Mommy and not a wife, the whispers behind hers will be just as bad. I know that age shouldn't be an issue, but, bigotry shouldn't be rampant in the world yet it still exists. You will regret it.

The only people age should be an issue with are the ones involved in the relationship. If the two of you are fine about it then go ahead and do what you both wish. 4 years difference is like a drop in the ocean. You have more in common with each other with your 4 yr gap than you would otherwise have if you were marrying a girl 20 years older than you!
Enjoy dude!

Go marry the woman that you love who loves you and treats you good. My husband is 12 years older than me.... you are talking about 4 little years.... what is the age difference issue the two of you have? And is it really your issue or is someone sticking their nose in where it has no place... like uummmm.... your relationship choices? If you love and feel comfortable with the 4 year age difference... marry her already!!!!!

That u have to decide for urself because girls growup faster than boys, after some years u may realise that and that will b too late,so think before getting married to older girl.

All depends on your ages. 4 years for someone in their teens is most likely an issue. Later in life 4 yrs doesn't have much of a baring.

Of course. 4 years is nothing. My sister-in-law is 4 years older than my brother & they've been together 14 years now, and still going strong.

If you have to question age to marry someone then you probably feel "unsure" about her. If I marry, I will have no doubts about the man because I love him for who he is and not anything else.
