When I was younger... I remember calling 911 with my friend once, and when they picked up, I just left the phone on the floor, and didn't say anything.

I guess they thought there was something wrong, cuz like 10 minutes later, there was a knock on the door and it was the police. My dad was freaked out at first, but then they realized what I had done n such and my dad beat the hell outta me.

Anyways, that's the only time I can remember the police knocking on my door.

Yup - my brother called them on my abusive ex; I called them on my abusive ex; then the sheriff was looking for a different ex at my apartment.

And I had a cop knock on the door because a lady had hit a buck on the road in front of the house. The buck went to my back yard and collapsed. They had to shoot it so they woke us to let us know. It was really sad. =(

I had a cop call me because a car with my description and close to my license plate # did a drive off from a gas station.

So, what did she tell them when she called 911!?

My divorced best friends daughter called the police because she had been sent to her room, she also called her fathers parents, (she had been told to call if she was ever scared; by her lunatic father) they all turned up at the house along with child services and searched the house for signs of violence, questioned everybody called the ex husband, poor kid was only 6 she was so ashamed :(

yup, I live in a townhome complex and someone left their 2 & 3 year old kids outside for over two hours alone. They didn't know where they lived and could hardly talk. So I had them play with my kids outside while I waited for the cops. Turns out the cops knew who the kids belonged to because it's happened before and they gave the kids back to the Mom.

Actually they have! They came knocking this summer asking me if I'd seen this guy in the building. Apparently he's got some kind of mental problem. He's a schizo or something.

Only looking for me once.

I got my roster wrong and thought I was on a night shift when I was on a day.

Stayed up til "silly o'clock" and slept through the start of my shift.

Work got worried and, as I wasn't answering my phone, sent the police round to break in.

Yes, I called 911 when I thought I was hemorrhaging after my tonsils were removed.

A few years ago I was awakened at 3 a.m. by a police officer. Someone had stolen a car and left it half in my yard and half in the neighbor's.

Yes, they were looking for my son who could not reach me on my cell phone to get a ride home, so he took a cab home and stiffed the cab. A few minutes later the cops were knocking!
URGH! TEENS!
